Watch No. 15 Wake Forest take on Duke on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. ET live on the College Soccer Special on #NSCAATV.

Duke head coach John Kerr, has his squad rolling, tying three straight games. The Blue Devils have now strung together a pair of wins to come to 6-4-5 on the season and 1-3-4 in ACC play.

First, the Blue Devils took down Boston College 1-0 on the road, for a much needed conference win. They followed that performance with a second half explosion against Elon to beat the Southern Conference rival, 3-0.

Duke registered three goals in a game for the first time this season against Elon. Freshman forward Brody Huitema notched the third goal of the game to bring his team-leading point total to 14 (6 goals, 2 assists). Junior midfielder Sean Davis is not far behind, with five goals and three assists.

Since falling 1-0 to perennial powerhouse No. 18 Akron 1-0, the Wake Forest (8-3-4, 5-0-3) have scored eight goals in 180 minutes of competition, including a signature win against Maryland.

Wake’s 4-3 win over the then No. 4-Terps was in large part due to the play of senior midfielder Luca Gimenez, as he contributed a pair of goals and an assist. This marked the Demon Deacons’ 400th win in program history, with head coach Jay Vidovich at the helm for 20 of the 28 years of the program.

In Wake Forest’s last time out, the squad routed Davidson, 4-0, behind the play of senior forward Andy Lubahn and junior forward Sean Okoli. Lubahn came off the bench to score twice and bring his career goal total to 27.

His production moves him into ninth place on Wake Forest’s all-time goal scoring list, while Okoli’s lone goal against Davidson puts him in a three-way tie for points on the team with Lubahn, Okoli, and Luca Gimenez  all earning 14 points on the year.

Both sides enter the competition on unbeaten streaks as Duke has not been beaten in five games and Wake has not suffered a loss in ACC play through eight contests. History favors Duke, as they lead the all-time series over Wake 23-13-6 and beat the Demon Deacons 4-1 in the squads last meeting in 2011.

Tune in as No. 15 Wake Forest takes on Duke on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. ET live on the College Soccer Special. Dean Linke and Keith Tabatznik will again team up to call the game.
